Caracas Tech Community Hosts Monthly Meetups Connecting Founders and Investors

Caracas continues to host regular tech meetups that connect founders, investors, developers and enthusiasts in the local startup ecosystem.
These community-driven activities build directly on the visibility gained from Venezuela Tech Week 2026, which ran from May 11 to 13 at the Centro de Convenciones Parque Bolívar and drew 800 to 1,000 international investors and founders focused on fintech, HealthTech and AI.
Established monthly gatherings
Caracas Tech Meetup holds sessions every third Thursday of the month. The group currently lists 791 members on Meetup.com. Two other active groups on the same platform are Venezuela Web Development Meetup with 789 members and AWS User Group Caracas with 705 members. Startup Grind Caracas runs both in-person and virtual sessions that include founder pitch practice and lessons on AI infrastructure.
GDG Caracas, the local Google Developer Group, adds technical depth through its own talks and workshops. One recent session took place on July 9 and covered building Chrome extensions with Angular and Nx.

The May gathering at the Centro de Convenciones Parque Bolívar demonstrated the reach of these networks when hundreds of participants converged on a single venue.
